Prednisolone Side Effects

wounds that will not heal
frequent passing of urine
increased thirst
irregular heartbeat
menstrual problems
mental depression
unusual increased growth of hair on the face/body
other signs of infection
muscle cramps/weakness
nausea/vomiting
pain in hips, back, ribs, arms, shoulders, or legs
rounding out of face
skin problems, acne, thin and shiny skin
stomach pain
swelling of feet/lower legs
unusual bruising/pinpoint red spots on the skin
unusual tiredness/weakness
weight gain or weight loss
mood swings
decreased/blurred vision
bloody/black/tarry stools
confusion/excitement/restlessness
bulging eyes/eye pain
Sometimes, Prednisolone may even cause headaches, dizziness, insomnia, compression fractures (bone pain), heart burn and palpitations.
Prednisolone may even further still cause fever, a persistent sore throat, troubled breathing, rashes, a severe itching sensation and body swellings.
Sometimes, Prednisolone may even cause Buffalo Hump (rounding of the upper back), depression, obesity, euphoria, growth retardation in children and retention of Sodium.
Prednisolone may even further still cause convulsions, loss of potassium, Hypokalemic Alkalosis, Aseptic Necrosis of femoral and humeral heads, increased sweating and ringing in one’s ears. |
